Effective 2026-09-24. Uniflow AI Inc., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada.
Uniflow AI Inc. ("Uniflow AI", "we") operates TabFollower and is responsible for the personal information described here. This policy applies to the App, the Site and the TabFollower Plus subscription. We comply with Canada's PIPEDA and British Columbia's PIPA, and with the GDPR and UK GDPR where they apply to users in Europe.
TabFollower listens to your guitar through the audio interface to follow the notes you play. The audio is analysed on your iPad and is never recorded, stored or uploaded by the App, except when you choose to record a run as a video, which is saved on your iPad and shared only where you send it.
To provide the Service: keep your account, songs and scores; compose songs you ask for; verify subscriptions with Apple; send push notifications you asked for; show practice feedback and weekly observations; and answer support requests. To keep the Service safe: detect abuse, enforce quotas, and investigate errors (unexpected errors are logged with a reference and emailed to our operator). To improve the Service, using aggregate statistics such as how long songs take to write. We do not sell personal information, do not use it for advertising, and do not use your content to train AI models.
We use your address for messages about your account and the Service: password resets, account changes, notices you ask for, and replies to your support requests. Receipts and renewal notices for TabFollower Plus come from Apple, not from us. Occasional news and tips from TabFollower are sent only if you switch that on, when you sign up or later on the Account screen, and you can switch it off there at any time. We never share or sell your address.
Account data, songs, history and statistics: for as long as you have an account. Deleting your account from the Account screen removes them from our servers promptly; backups held by our hosting provider are purged on their schedule. Subscription records: while the subscription is active and for as long as needed to handle disputes and Apple's notifications. Support messages: up to two years. Server logs: typically 30 days. Anonymous aggregate statistics may be kept indefinitely.
You can see and change your email preference and delete your account in the App. You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and, where the GDPR applies, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability; you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority. Email support@tabfollower.com; we may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder. Notification permission is controlled in your iPad's Settings.
Connections use TLS. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider using industry-standard hashing; we never see them. Sessions and tokens are signed and expire. Apple receipts are verified against Apple's certificates. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at support@tabfollower.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Our hosting provider stores data in data centres that may be outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves Canada or the European Economic Area, we rely on our providers' contractual safeguards.
We may update this policy; the effective date above changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the App or by email.
