Morning Meadow

A free folk practice piece for electric guitar, level 1 (first steps). Written for TabFollower, where the tab scrolls over a live band that hears what you play.

What you practise

Morning Meadow keeps the lead on strings 1 to 2 (e to B), between fret 0 and fret 5, so it suits a first steps player working on folk feel. No articulations: every note is picked, which is what level ${entry.level} is about. The band plays 4 beats to the bar at 84 bpm; in the app you can take it down to 21 bpm and let it wait for you in Practice mode, or switch off the clock entirely in Step mode.

Structure

One column per sixteenth note. Chord names on the top line; h hammer-on, p pull-off, s slide, ~ vibrato, pm palm mute, and a b after a fret marks a bend. The full 20-bar tab, the band and the scoring are in the app.
