Riverbend Morning

A free folk practice piece for electric guitar, level 2 (beginner). Written for TabFollower, where the tab scrolls over a live band that hears what you play.

What you practise

Riverbend Morning keeps the lead on strings 1 to 3 (e to G), between fret 0 and fret 7, so it suits a beginner player working on folk feel. No articulations: every note is picked, which is what level ${entry.level} is about. The band plays 4 beats to the bar at 92 bpm; in the app you can take it down to 23 bpm and let it wait for you in Practice mode, or switch off the clock entirely in Step mode.

Structure

Tab excerpt: bars 5 to 8
