Slide Street Shuffle

A free blues practice piece for electric guitar, level 4 (confident). Written for TabFollower, where the tab scrolls over a live band that hears what you play.

What you practise

Slide Street Shuffle keeps the lead on strings 1 to 5 (e to A), between fret 0 and fret 12, so it suits a confident player working on blues feel. Techniques drawn on the tab: 37 vibrato, 14 pull-offs, 6 bends, 5 hammer-ons, 4 palm muting, 3 slides. The band plays 4 beats to the bar at 104 bpm; in the app you can take it down to 26 bpm and let it wait for you in Practice mode, or switch off the clock entirely in Step mode.
